When using the Eclipse with AC Power Supply, and with any power cartridge in the unit, then the battery unit will automatically recharge. Sequal Caire uses different Ref (Part Numbers) for this product. The part number 5941 is compatible with all Eclipse Oxygen Concentrator Machines but not with the Eclipse 1 Machine. If you have found elsewhere the part numbers 5790 or 5491, then they are compatible with all Eclipse 2 and Eclipse 3 Machines.
