DreamStation Heated Humidifier is an optional accessory connecting to the DreamStation machine to form an integrated unit that is easily adjusted by the LCD display. The heated humidifier includes DryBox technology, which prevents water from entering the machine or the tubing.
It operates in two different modes, in Adaptive Heating Mode and in Fixed Heating Mode.
Adaptive Heating Mode is an automatic function that delivers the necessary humidity level according to the external temperature. External detection of humidity and temperature is the mechanism preventing rainout in the tubing as continuously providing the optimal humidity level in the tubing and mask. A Heated Tubing is optionally available to level up therapy comfort. Fixed Heating Mode is a standard-manual function that delivers constant heat to the humidifier plate. The Heated Tubing is compatible with both operating modes.
Dry Box Technology: The heated plate seals and protects the machine from hazardous water damage, because it prevents the water to enter the machine or tubing, as it traps the water within its walls. Dry Box Technology can be proved a real ”machine’s saver” in case of water spillage.
It has five (5) temperature operating levels, from one (1) to five (5).
