The DreamStation Heated Humidifier is an optional accessory that connects to the DreamStation machine, forming an integrated unit easily adjusted via the LCD display. The heated humidifier features DryBox technology, which prevents water from entering the machine or tubing.
It operates in two different modes, in Adaptive Heating Mode and in Fixed Heating Mode.
Adaptive Heating Mode is an automatic function that delivers the necessary humidity level and adjusts heat settings based on the external temperature. By detecting external humidity and temperature, it prevents rainout in the tubing while continuously providing optimal humidity to the tubing and mask. Heated tubing is optionally available to enhance therapy comfort. Fixed Heating Mode is a standard manual function that delivers constant heat to the humidifier plate. The heated tubing is compatible with both operating modes.
Dry Box Technology: The heated plate seals and protects the machine from water damage by preventing water from entering the machine or tubing, as it traps the water within its walls. Dry Box Technology can be considered a true ‘machine saver’ in case of water spillage.
It has five (5) temperature operating levels, from one (1) to five (5).
