After Pilairo’s establishment as one of the best CPAP masks, Fisher & Paykel presents the updated and revised Pilairo Q Nasal Pillows CPAP Mask. Pilairo Q is a super quiet (only 23.6 dBA) thanks to its advanced exhalation valve, and extremely lightweight. It comes with a soft AirPillow Seal for extra comfort and it includes two (2) different types of headgear (adjustable and StretchWise headgear) so that you can find the fit that suits you best.
SPECIFICATIONS:
AirPillow Seal: Pilairo Q’s innovative AirPillow provides the most comfortable and secure seal by hovering over the face and sealing around the nose. The AirPillow is made of silicone, making it super flexible and thin. Thanks to its ergonomic design, it maintains seal effectively without causing pressure or soreness.
Quiet Exhalation: The Pilairo Q includes an additional diffuser filter with Q-Cover for quieter exhalation. Provides a very quiet operation (23.6 dBA on average). The Q-Cover is optional when using this mask. Offers a quiet therapy for the user and their bed partner.
Two (2) Headgear Options:
Adjustable Headgear: Standard Adjustable Headgear fits a wide range of users with one (1) adjustable halo strap at the back and two (2) adjustable straps on the side. The straps’ material allows free air circulation so the head breathes freely. The straps should not be overtightened so that the AirPillow can inflate naturally and maintain its seal.
StretchWise Headgear: The StretchWise Headgear with its minimalist design offers an unobtrusive, comfortable fit. It comes in one size that fits a very wide range of users, it requires no manual adjustments and it is so flexible and comfortable that it leaves no red marks on the face.
Flexible Tubing: Pilairo Q’s flexible tubing with Socket Elbow offers extra flexibility and freedom of movement during therapy.

The design of the headgear makes it very comfortable. the sides of the pillows inflate to hold the pillows in place. Its like wearing diving goggles where they suction on your face to keep the water out. It keeps the pillows in place and there is no leakage. I have tried so many masks and I am always disappointed because they leak when you turn around during sleep. This one thankfully stays in place. I feel that I am getting a better sleep and feel more refreshed in the morning. I don’t have marks on my face each morning after hours of use. I highly recommend this product! Edward

I was excited for this but in the end this mask was not what I expected. In theory it is a good choice. However, the single strap is too big and non adjustable. So if you gave a small head, this is not for you. I prefer not to use the headgear, to avoid marks on my skin. Also, the nasal pillows produced condensation. I ‘ve used the Pilairo for almost three years and found it very uncomfortable. I recently ended my cpap therapy thanks to my latest improved sleep apnea report. I ‘ve tried Pilairo for the fist time, I haven’t gotten the best life experience, the pillows pinch my nose and I wake up with a red sore on my face in the morning. Furthermore the pillow falls off each time I remove the mask, it doesn’t fit on the mask’s frame as it should be, I called back the store to report the problem but they didn’t say anything about it, I don’t know am I doing something wrong guys? I am afraid I am going for my swift fx again very soon.
